EC introduces antielection fraud app

The Election Commission Thursday unveiled an anti-electoral fraud application in the hope it will prompt the public to inform on wrongdoers.

The EC plans to use this application, Ta Sapparod, a reference to pineapple eyes, in the slated 2017 general election in bid to have a transparent election.
However it will allow the public to download the application for use in this year’s planned national referendum on the charter draft, said Somchai Srisutthiyakorn, the EC commissioner responsible for election administration.
It will be available from April 11.
