Uighur on watch list 'entered Thailand last month'

One of three Uighurs on a special watch list made two trips to Thailand last month, Immigration Bureau’s chief Pol Lt General Nattorn Prohsunthorn disclosed Wednesday.

This Uighur is identified as Turkishpassport holder, 36-year-old Ali Yalcin Ergin.
Nattorn said Ergin first travelled to Thailand from Singapore on March 18 on an AirAsia flight, spent four days here, and then left with another AirAsia flight to Cambodia.
“Records show after his departure, he returned within two days again with an AirAsia flight. He also spent four days in Thailand in his second trip,” Nattorn said.
