NCPO chief provides 30-rai of land to solve encroachment

Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha has invoked total power under the charter’s Section 44 to take the 30-rai land in Klong Chiangrak Yai area of Pathum Thani’s Klong Luang district to be state-owned.
The order, published on Friday in the Royal Gazette for immediate effect, stated that the use of such 30-rai land would be transferred by the Treasury Department to a co-operative established to solve the public land encroachment via the Pathum Thani Model to make use of.
The land would be used as according to the model’s objectives, the Finance Ministry’s regulation and the memorandum of co-operations (MOC) for Ban Mankhong on state-owned lands.
