Prateep to appeal NHSO board’s decision

Dr Prateep Dhanakijcharoen, former deputy secretary-general of the National Health Security Office (NHSO), will file a petition against the board’s decision not to endorse him as the office’s new chief.

Prateep said Tuesday he would appeal to the Central Administrative Court, and consider taking the case to the Criminal Court at a later stage.
After sailing easily through most stages of the three-month selection process, Prateep was found to be the only qualified candidate for the post of secretary-general at the NHSO board meeting on July 4. Yet the board voted 14 to 13 against his endorsement.
