Voters urged to read charter before casting ballots

Activist group 'Ant Power' Saturday led an activity encourgaing voters to study the constitution before casting a ballot in the poll next month.
Many students and general people showed interest and joined the group, reading the constitution at the skywalk adjacent to MBK center and Bangkok's Art and Culture Center.
Sirawith Seritiwat, or Ja New, also joined the activity. He inisted that the activity was not aiming to persuade people how to vote. It is up to the people how to decide, he added.
A number of police officer were deployed to observe the activity, but it went on smoothly without arrests or prohibition.
