19 red-shirt leaders released by police

Crime Suppression Division police released 19 red-shirt leaders Tuesday afternoon after charging them with violating the political rally ban.

United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship chairman Jatuporn Prompan and 18 other red-shirt leaders were released at 12:45 pm after they were interrogated for over two hours.
Jatuporn said they were not required to seek any bail and police told them to meet the investigators again on September 6.
