A huge blaze hit a department store at the heart of Trang province early Friday morning.
The initial damage is estimated to be more than Bt100 million.
The fire took place in this peaceful province after a bomb attack killed one and injured six others in the afternoon.
A security guard of Leemart Super store said that he smelt of smoke and heard series of explosion at about 3pm.

He could not go inside as all the doors were locked. A senior Trang official could not contact owner of the building and could not go inside, what they could do was to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings.
