Police checking for street fighters

Police is checking the whereabouts of street fights that had been posed on a YouTube account "Fight Club Thailand" as to punish those involved, Bangkok Metropolitan Police chief Sanit Mahathaworn said Tuesday.
Such unauthorized organising of street fighting matches was against the Boxing Act B.E. 2542 (1999) and was punishable for one year in prison and/or Bt20,000 in fine, he said adding that such illegal activity of pitting strangers into fighting in public place must not be held in Bangkok.
