Meechai withdraws charter draft from Constitutional Court

Constitution Drafting Commission chairman Meechai Ruchuphan Tuesday withdrew the charter draft from the Constitutional Court, the court announced.
Meechai sent the draft to the court on Monday for a review on a revised article to incorporate the additional question that was approved in the referendum.
The court said Meecchai dispatched an official to take back the draft for further change before it will be resent to the court for review.
The revised article will allow senators to join MPs in voting for the selection of the prime minister.
