The latest suspect, who became the sixth person wanted in the seven-province bombings, was identified as Seri Namamu, 31, a resident of Songkhla’s Thepha district.
The arrest warrant states that Seri is charged with having explosives in possession and collaboration in attempted arson in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Deputy Police Commissioner General Pol Gen Srivara Rangsiprammakul, who heads the investigations, said the arrest warrant was based on footage of security cameras, which was compared to suspects in police’s database.
Seri is also wanted in several cases of bomb attacks in the three southern border provinces.
