Sansern appointed caretaker Public Relations director general
Government Spokesman Maj Gen Sansern Kaewkamnerd was Tuesday appointed concurrently caretaker director general of the Public Relations Department.
The appointment was made in the order No. 59/59 of the National Council for Peace and Order chief, which was issued to suspend 72 government officials from duty pending investigations of their alleged irregularities.
The order stated that for the sake of seamless public relations works of the NCPO and the government, Sansern will hold both posts of government spokesman and director general of the Public Relations Department.
Sansern's appointment will take effect on October 1. He will replace Apinan Chanrangsi, who will retire at the end of this month.
