
The Pact was jointly signed by three representatives from the MEA, the bidders and the independent observers at the 18th floor, conference room, MEA headquarters, Ploenchit Road. Reprsentative of Comptroller General’s Department and the Anti-Corruption Organization of Thailand were also invited to attend the ceremony.
Assoc. Prof. Pissanu Stitsart, the Board of Directors of the MEA, said the prime objective of the signing ceremony of the Pact was to promote transparency in operation through disclosure of useful information to private agencies wishing to take part in MEA’s procurement procedure.
This pact would ensure a transparent selection process and fair competition, which is in accordance with the policy initiated by the government of Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to ensure transparent, fair and accountable operations in the state sector.
