The state-run NBT Channel will broadcast mass singing of the royal anthem in tribute to His Majesty the Late King at Sanam Luang from 12.45 pm onward on Saturday.

According to Acting Director-General to the Public Relations Department Lt Gen Sansern Kaewkamnerd, the broadcasting is aimed to share the heartfelt moment to those unable travel to crowded Sanam Luang on the day.

Since the event is not a royal ceremony, other channels may broadcast the event but it is not mandatory  to do so, Sansern added.

From 1pm to 5pm, there will be multiple rounds of mass singing of the royal anthem with the backing of a full orchestra and a hundred of professional chorus singers.

Another highlight is scheduled at 10pm when mourners will hold white candles and sing a last round of the royal anthem.
