Southeast Asia University prints memorial postcards

Southeast Asia University has printed 100,000 postcards in remembrance of the much-loved late King Bhumibol Adulyadej to be distributed free to mourners.

Southeast Asia University president Chattavut Peechapol said the folded postcards would feature nine royal portraits of HM the King with royal speeches printed on the back of each postcard.
“The project was initiated by the university’s chairman Sermsin Samalapa with the intention of making recipients live their lives following the teachings of the much-revered late King and remember their precious historic memories.”
He said the elegantly designed postcards would be meticulously printed to make them into collectibles and ensure the royal teachings would benefit people. “Don’t take just beautiful pictures. Take photos that can be used for the benefits of the nation and society,” Chattavut quoted His Majesty as speaking.
“The 100,000 copies of the postcard will be given away at Sanam Luang when mourners are allowed to pay homage before the Royal urn in November,” Chattavut said.
