The bureau said in the statement that Her Majesty got high fever on Wednesday while she had full consciousness. Doctors performed a blood check and found that the count of her white blood cell was higher than normal level, indicating an inflammation.
The team of doctors sought Her Majesty's permission to take her to the Chulalongkorn Hospital for thorough checking.
A subsequent check by x-ray found that Her Majesty had lung inflammation so the doctors administered antibiotic to her.
