Injuries in explosion outside university in central Turkey

Istanbul - An explosion took place Saturday near a bus outside a university in Kayseri, a province in central Turkey, broadcaster NTV reported, showing pictures from the scene.
Several people, possibly soldiers, were reported injured and emergency services were at the scene, according to the broadcaster, which said a car bomb may have been the cause.
The explosion took place outside Erciyes University at about 845 am(0545 GMT). The bus was hit on its left side by the explosion.
The province is approximately 300 kilometres south of the capital Ankara.
Las weekend, a car bomb and suicide bomber exploded outside a football stadium in Istanbul, killing 44 people, including 36 police officers.
A hardline Kurdish militant group, the Kurdistan Freedom Falcons(TAK), claimed the attack.
