Popular Ban Kood beach littered with garbage following floods

The five-kilometre-long popular Ban Kood beach has been littered with garbage swept to the sea by floodwaters, causing bad smell in the area.
Local villagers of Ban Klang Ao Nua and Ban Klang Ao villages in Tambon Thongchia in Prachuap Khiri Khan’s Bang Saphan district complained Sunday that the beach has been littered with garbage for several days but no officials stepped in to help clean up the beach.
They said the garbage was swept to the sea by floodwaters.
