Probe into cause of blaze at Central Embassy
Police are investigating the cause of a fire that broke out on Thursday night at a hotel under construction within the Central Embassy building in downtown Bangkok.
The fire, on the 26th floor of the 36-storey building, was believed to have spread from a storage room of papers and |plywood to insulation sheets nearby.
It took firefighters about 20 minutes to control the fire.
The affected area, above the luxury shopping mall, was not occupied.
