Falcon Insurance says it is prepared for digital age

Falcon Insurance has announced its readiness for the “Thailand 4.0” economic policy, claiming strong capability in all factors including financial, personal and technological.

Chief executive officer Sopa Kanjanarintr said new legislation allowing foreigners to hold up to 100 per cent of an insurance business in Thailand and supporting electronic transactions would be positive for the insurance industry.
Falcon’s corporate headquarters are in Canada.
As younger people become the major customer base over the next decade, electronic channels will become increasingly important. Thus the insurance industry including Falcon will need to adjust to survive in the digital era, Sopa said.
Falcon will implement a work-flow system and electronic documents to manage the underwriting process and claims, including claim payments.
It targets premium income this year to grow by 15 per cent to Bt2 billion.
