Ten Dhammakaya monks hear charges at Thanyaburi court

Ten monks of Pathum Thani-based Dhammakaya Temple went to hear the charge of resisting the junta order at the Thanyaburi Provincial Court's Office of Public Prosecutor on Tuesday afternoon.

They were escorted by Klong 5 Police station investigator Pol Lt Colonel Uthai Waewthaisong and temple lawyer Panya Thawornakaranin.
The 10 monks were among a total of 14 monks that had been summoned to present themselves to the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) officers but had failed to do so.
Four monks who didn't hear the charge yet were former abbot Phra Dhammachayo, Phra Thatthacheevo who claimed to be too ill to come, and two other monks  Phra Maha Somchai Thanawuttho and Phra Kru Baideeka Amnuaysak Munisako  who were pre-occupied with monastic errands.
