
The cremation was held at Wat Somnas Temple, close to Government House.
The cause of death was reported to have been the bleeding, which deprived her brain of oxygen and led to kidney failure before she passed away peacefully last week.
Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam, who has been the secretary-general of the Cabinet for several governments, recalled how he had been helped by Yuwadee after he was appointed deputy premier in the Thaksin and Prayut governments.
Yuwadee was a bridge between governments and junior reporters, he said, helping communication and making both sides understand each other better.
She was also remembered as a frontline reporter at Government House, daring to challenge every prime minister during her time.
“She was always at the front whenever there was an issue at Government House. She might also have been loud and straightforward, a bit scary for young journalists. But she never had ill intentions again anyone,” said Sumontha Boonkhum, her close colleague at Khaosod.
