GetVan booking app makes commuters’ rides easier

Police on Monday launched GetVan booking, an application for reserving a van online anywhere and anytime and aimed at making commuters’ rides easier to arrange and adding convenience to their lives.
In the first stage, users of the app can reserve a seat in any of 2,500 vans travelling on 30 routes within 300 kilometres of the centre of Bangkok.
The app has been developed alongside Police I lert u, created by the Metropolitan Police Bureau to facilitate service for people who need emergency help.
Police I lert u users can send personal information, photos, location and time of emergency to a police ‘war room’ in order to use the Police I lert u service.
