The People's Movement for a Just Society (P-move) is planning to gather members from across the country on Thursday to stage a protest at Government House to ask for a government commitment in solving land rights problems.

The group stated that poor people from around the country have been suffering from authorities’ land policies, such as the forest reclamation operation, which resulted in the forced relocation of many communities from forestland, even though they had settled in their lands for generations.
They also asked the government to come up with policies such as communal land rights deeds, land banks and other solutions to solve the land problems for poor and marginalised people.
