Police promote ‘polite and safe’ Songkran water play
Bangkok's Chanasongkhram Police Station, whose jurisdiction covers popular tourist area Khao San Road, has issued an announcement promoting “polite and safe” Songkran water play.
The promoted period covers April 13-14 from 2pm to 8pm on Khao San Road and nearby Rambutri Road.
The police precinct has prohibited water play on Rajadamnoen Klang Road and said anyone who sets up a shop on the road’s surface or its footpath will be fined Bt5,000.
