Three people suspected of involvement in the May 9 Big C Pattani bomb attack were arrested on Tuesday after authorities surrounded a village in the southern province.
Two shotguns allegedly found in the suspects’ possession were seized, but a source on the operations team said three other suspects managed to escape.
Soldiers, police officers and Interior Ministry officials surrounded Ban Khok Muang in Nong Chik district’s Tambon Lipasango at 8.30am.
The source said the three arrested were taken for interrogation to the Ingkahyut Borihan Army base, also in Nong Chik.
