Abhisit criticises ‘reset’ of Election Commission The Nation

Abhisit added that he was concerned about the new EC’s credibility in relation to future politics. 
Because the commissioners would come from the “Five Rivers of Power”, which includes the junta, their impartiality would be in question regarding political parties.
“It could become a political issue,” Abhisit said.
“While everything has to go by the law, the public also keeps watch on whether there is actually a standard for these independent agencies. We have to see if other agencies of this kind will also be reset.”
