Officials found the body of an 18-year-old boy in the forest zone of Pattani province on Sunday morning.
It is suspected that Nattapop Intorntip and his two friends might have been killed by insurgents when they went deep into the forest on Saturday to collect some forest produce and possibly stumbled on some secret activities.
The bodies of Nattapop’s two friends were found earlier with gunshot wounds.
