Date for Prayut’s US trip not finalised

Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai said on Tuesday that the date for Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha’s trip to meet US President Donald Trump in Washington DC has not been finalised.
He said that is because both sides are making preparations for all issues before the visit.
Don said it is not strange that such preparations take time because the leaders of the two countries have not held an official meeting for three years.
He said the preparations need to be made because both governments want the visit to yield results.
Don does not know if the preparations will be done this month.
