The couple was identified as Somporn Chaisrisawat, 62, and Wirat Chaisrisawat, 62.
They were rushed to the Thammasat Hospital at 11.30pm.
Their neighbour, Surasak Sawangrungrassamee, 48, said he went to help the couple when he heard them crying for help.
He said the dog was biting the couple and he tried to separate them from the animal.
He called for an ambulance to take them to hospital.
Surasak said the dog belonged to the couple’s son who was not in the house at the time. He said the dog was normally not aggressive and he thought the couple might have done something to anger it.
