Cabinet not ready to consider reshuffling high-ranking officers

The Cabinet meeting on Tuesday will not consider reshuffling high-ranking officers as Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam, who collects and scrutinises the related list, is on duty aboard.

Interior Minister General Anupong Paochinda also revealed that he would nominate Chatchai Promlert, director-general of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, as the new permanent secretary to his ministry.
Meanwhile, the Education Ministry will asked the Cabinet to approve a credit-line budget for the Ramathibodi Hospital development project.
The Ministry will also propose a human resources development strategy to support the Eastern Economic Corridor.
The Justice Ministry wants the Cabinet to approve a budget to support the contingency fund for emergency cases in which victims and defendants in criminal cases are compensated.
