Six injured when military truck hits tree in Prachin Buri
A military truck crashed into a tree on a road in Prachin Buri, injuring six troops on board, after one of its tyres burst on Wednesday.
Pol Captain Warakorn Saiwaew, an officer on duty of Muang Prachin Buri police station, said the accident happened at 10.30am on a bypass road in Muang district while the military truck was heading downtown.
Warakorn said the driver and five passengers were all injured and rushed to the Chao Phraya Apai Phubet Hospital.
He said the front left tyre of the truck burst and the road was slippery after rains. The truck hit two trees so severely that its front was badly damaged.
The truck was transporting supplies from Phra Nangklao base in Chachoengsao to the Chakkrapong base in Prachin Buri’s Muang district.
