Hundreds watch re-enactment of murder case in Ayutthaya
Hundreds of people showed up at a service station in Ayutthaya province on Thursday to observe a re-enactment related to the murder of a young woman.
The re-enactment took place amid tight security as police feared the possibility of violence from the crowd.
Relatives of the victim were among the observers.
The woman’s boyfriend, Ponkrit Wises, is accused of killing her three years ago as she tried to break up with him after finding out that he was already married to another woman.
Ponkrit apologised to his late girlfriend’s parents.
The service station was where Ponkrit picked up his girlfriend three years ago. It was the last time she was seen alive.
As witnesses said Ponkrit was not alone when he picked up the victim, her parents urged police to continue the investigation to find out who else was involved.
