Pedestrian killed crossing dark Samut Prakan road

A pedestrian was killed when he was hit by a pickup truck at a dark spot on Thepharak road early Friday.
Police said the accident happened at 1am in Tambon Bang Pla in Samut Prakan’s Bangplee district.
The man, who has yet to be identified, was hit by the pickup and his body was hurled against a road sign.
He died at the scene.
Pickup driver Jamnong Khoenprai, 30, told police that the road was dark and she did not see the man crossing. She said she felt her pickup hit something so she stopped and checked and found that the man had been killed.
