No special security meeting over Yingluck

Colonel Winthai Suvaree, spokesperson for the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), said on Saturday that there had been no security meeting to address the disappearance of runaway former premier Yingluck Shinawatra.

Prime Minister and NCPO chief Prayut Chan-o-cha had made no special order on the issue, Winthai said.
Normal laws would be enforced to catch Yingluck under an arrest warrant issued by the Supreme Court, he said.
“You have to understand that the border is long and there is a natural border route. Authorities work at full force to monitor illegal things being imported, or watch those using the route to flee the country,” he said.
He said only the media was reporting that Yingluck had left the country.
