Very mild quake recorded in Lamphun

A very mild quake of 1.3 magnitude occurred in Lamphun early on Saturday morning, an official said.
Witthaya Phathong, director of the Office of Mineral Resources Area 1 in charge of northern provinces, said the quake happened at about 40 minutes after midnight on Saturday. Its epicenter was 3 kilometres deep and was in Lamphun’s Ban Thi district.
The quake was not felt by people because it was very mild, he said.
Lamphun has seen nine mild quakes recently, according to the Seismological Bureau.
