Psychiatric patient drowns in Uthai Thani

The body of Samroeng Phakpho, 58, was found by scuba divers about an hour after he panicked and ran, then jumped into the pond in Moo 4 village in Tambon Nong Krathum at 10.30am.
Relatives told police that the man was visiting them when he suddenly became frightened and said that he was being followed.
Relatives said the man had not seen his psychiatrist for about five or six months and had turned to heavy drinking recently.
