Thai woman facing 7 arrest warrants extradited from Cambodia

A Thai woman on the run, for whom seven arrest warrants had been issued over dud cheques, has been arrested in Cambodia and extradited.

Cambodian officials handed over Sirin Santikrisanalert, 47, to Sa Kaew immigration chief Pol Colonel Benjapol Rodsawat at the Ban Klong Luek border checkpoint on Tuesday afternoon.
Seven arrest warrants had been issued by the Nakhon Pathom provincial court for Sirin in January 2015 for having allegedly issued dud cheques for Bt70 million.
Police later learned she had fled to Cambodia so they sought help from Cambodian police in Poi Pet to make the arrest.
