Burglar gang strikes more Nonthaburi homes

Unknown burglars broke into four houses in the Preuksa Housing Estate 11 in Nonthaburi’s Pakkred district early on Friday night and ran off with valuables worth about half a million baht, the estate coordinator, Prasert Daengprasert, told police on Saturday.

The same perpetrators broke into four homes within the 217-house estate in Soi Tha It and stole Bt2,000 cash from the house number 74/165; Bt5,000, a gold ring and an amount of King Rama IX commemorative banknotes from the house number 74/79, but didn't take anything from house number 74/113, said Prasert, age 63. They also stole valuables worth Bt400,000 to Bt500,000 from the last house, number 74/163, he said.
The 74/163 home owner Kimatipat Chiewraksa said he had been on a trip to another province since September 17 and returned on Friday afternoon to find his home broken into and ornaments and valuables kept in the second-floor shrine room missing.
Police believe the same burglars were behind robberies in two other housing estates in the same soi on the night of September 20.
