The Royal Household Bureau had initially set this Saturday (September 30) as the last day people could pay their respects before the late King’s Royal Urn in the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, to facilitate preparation for the Royal Funeral late next month. However, HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn, realising the sadness and love of the Thai people for the late King, has ordered postponement of the deadline to midnight of October 5.
The King's order came after tens of thousands of people lined up in Sanam Luang to meet the September 30 deadline.
