Bangkok to have authorised Mi store

Beijing-based electronics and software firm Xiaomi, which only recently made its debut in the Thai market, will open its first authorised Mi store at Imperial World Samrong in Bangkok on October 8, in partnership with Fanslink Communication.

After-sales service will be provided by partner VST ECS via its VServePlus subsidiary, which has 10 branches in Thailand staffed by professional engineers.

Mi A1 smartphone will first be made available at the Authorized Mi Store on October 8.
“Mi A1 is very well suited to the digital transformation of Thailand and marks another step in our quest to bring innovation to everyone in Thailand,” said senior vice president Wang Xiang. “We are confident that the Thai market will respond very well to this great device.”
Wang said the store is just the beginning of Xiaomi’s plans for the Kingdom, which he noted has “much potential”. The company has long-term plans to make Thailand a key market in Southeast Asia.
“We are all very excited to have this momentum in Thailand and to continue bringing new products with great technology to the people at price points that provide outstanding value,” said Wang.
