The companies have entered into a fuels supply and licensing agreement that will convert 49 Pure-branded service stations in Thailand to the Esso brand. Under the agreement, Pure Thai Energy will operate the service stations under the Esso banner, according to a Monday press release.
“As the highly competitive retail fuels business evolves, selling Esso’s quality fuels through a strategic partner like Pure Thai Energy will expand our presence and bring more convenience to drivers,” said Yodpong Sutatham, director and retail sales manager of Esso (Thailand).
The conversion is expected to commence in December 2017 and be completed by the end of 2018. This will add to the existing 544 Esso-branded service stations in Thailand.
