Soldiers join police in probing Tak stadium arson

Soldiers joined police on Monday morning inspecting arson damage to a multimillion-baht municipal stadium under construction in Tak’s Mae Sot district.
Colonel Asarnha Pulsuwan ordered his troops from the 14th Infantry Regiment Task Force
to assist in the police probe of Sunday’s attack.
Police determined that, with the site unguarded, a group of arsonists has pried open a door to gain entry and set fire to sports equipment, causing Bt100,000 in damages.
Windows were also smashed, but an apparent attempt to set the building itself on fire was unsuccessful.
