Poor visibility as fog covers Phayao
The visibility on Phayao’s roads dropped to some 50 metres after the northern province was covered by fog on Friday morning.
Thick fog resulted in the early hours after a four-day warming trend was ended with a temperature drop to 22 degrees Celsius in lowland areas..
Drivers had to reduce speed, resulting in congestion in the downtown. Authorities warned motorists to turn on their fog lights.
