Tugboat knocks out Nakhon Pathom bridge
A tug pulling three barges knocked out a section of a bridge over the Nakhon Chaisri River in Nakhon Pathom on Thursday morning.
Police said Somboon Leklai, 34, was at the controls of the lead vessel at 6.30am when it struck a pillar of the bridge in front of Wat Thaiyawas in Nakhon Chaisri district.
The damage blocked traffic across the bridge and access to Buddha Monthon 7 Road.
