Catering grows in tandem with improved economy

Impact’s catering arm grew 20 percent this year over last year’s performance, reaching 164 events including parties, weddings, and outside catering.
The year saw more than 164 events catered through the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre for parties from 50 to 10,000 guests in venues of various sizes, said a Thursday press release from the company.
The company said it believes that other venues and catering services are also enjoying an increase as social and economic circumstances improved this year.
