Fire damages factory in Phetchaburi

A fire damaged a wood-processing factory in Phetchaburi’s Muang district early on Wednesday.
Police were alerted of the fire at the plant in Moo 1 village in Tambon Sammarong at 4.35am.
Six fire engines took over an hour to put out the blaze after it damaged some machinery and processed wood.
The factory owner, Somjai Tangchanwimol, 63, said the cost of the damage was estimated at Bt1 million.
Forensic police have yet to check the scene for the cause of the fire.
