J Walter Thompson Bangkok bolsters creative team

J Walter Thompson Bangkok has appointed Park Wansiri as executive creative director and Thasorn Boonyanate as creative director, joining chief creative officer Joao Braga’s creative team.

Park has been in the advertising industry for more than 10 years, beginning at FCB before moving to Leo Burnett.
In 2015, Park joined BBDO as a creative director and worked on campaigns for global brands including Mercedes-Benz, Mars, Pedigree, PepsiCo, Diageo and Visa.
In 2010, Park was selected as a Thai representative for Young Lions Competitions at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Thasorn moved to J Walter Thompson Bangkok after two years in Shanghai-based positions with BBDO and Fred & Farid.
In addition to his experience in copywriting and exposure to overseas work, he has been credited in more than 30 award-winning entries at domestic and international competitions, including the Cannes Lions, Adman and BAD awards.
“Park is exceptionally talented as a creative who consistently brings about pioneering ideas, while Thasorn is favourably liberal due to his cross-cultural experiences working and living abroad,” said J. Walter Thompson Bangkok managing director Parattajariya Jalayanateja.
“We are delighted to welcome both into our company to jointly create the next pioneering works together.”
Braga said he could tell on meeting the pair that both had “a very strong passion for their work, plus inspiring ideas and very new creative visions I have never come across.
“The first impressions of them excited me with foreseen possibilities from working with the young, aspiring creatives who will bring fresh ideas to our clients. Their works that will add to the stature of our company are on the horizon.”
