Phayao hit by fog, light rains and cold spell

Phayao had poor visibility as the northern province was hit by thick fog, light rains and a cold spell on Friday morning.
The local weather office reported that the temperature in the province dropped to 12 degrees Celsius while the province was covered with thick fog, prompting motorists to use fog lights and drive with caution.
Local people said the weather felt extra cold because light rains have continued since Thursday evening.
