FWD launches ‘Cancer Knockout’ protection insurance
A “Cancer Knockout” insurance policy for special cancer protection is being offered by FWD Life Insurance Public Co Ltd, according to a company press release on Thursday.
The insurance product will include not only comprehensive coverage against all stages and types of cancer, but also will offer benefits on life protection, first diagnosis of early-stage cancer, and advance-stage cancer. Chemotherapy and radiotherapy recovery benefits will also be included with maximum payout of Bt1.2 million for advance-stage cancer.
This special product package “Cancer Knockout” is designed for customers aged 16-65 years old who are concerned about cancer. However, Cancer Knockout will exclude coverage in two cases: cancer in HIV patients and pre-cancerous tumours. This product is only available from February 1 - May 31, 2018.
