Soldier hangs self in Phetchaburi
An Army sergeant was found hanged near his house in Phetchaburi’s Muang district Monday morning.
Police said Sgt Major 1st Class Thirakhom Sianchom, 35, was found hanging by the neck from a coconut tree in a rice field near his house in Ban Bo Wai, Tambon Pho Rai Wan.
A doctor estimated he’d been dead for about eight hours.
His father, Li Sianchom, said Thirakhom had complained about a work-related problem.
